From Bitcoin Beach to Spiritual Transformation

How an unexpected calling emerged during a Bitcoin class—and became a 40-day prayer for the transformation of CECOT.

The Unlikely Beginning

This is Manvir's story—how a calling came from the most unexpected place.

The Only Christian

Manvir grew up as the only Christian in her Indian family—set apart from the beginning, walking a different path. That sense of being called to something different was familiar, though she never imagined where it would lead.

Two Paths Converging

With her children grown, Manvir found herself at a crossroads. She enrolled in a two-year Catholic ministry program to deepen her faith. At the same time, she started taking a Bitcoin class—thinking she might return to her tech roots from her Silicon Valley days. Two completely different worlds. Or so she thought.

The Spark: Bitcoin Beach

During the Bitcoin class, a post caught her eye: Bitcoin Beach—a small coastal community in El Salvador pioneering economic transformation. Something stirred inside her. "Could this be the next Silicon Valley?" The curiosity felt strangely significant, though she couldn't explain why.

The Kingdom Dream

In her ministry program, she was invited to pray for a "Kingdom Dream"—a vision from God for how she might serve. During that prayer time, something unexpected happened. She began seeing visions: prisons, prisoners, thousands of men behind bars. The images were vivid, emotional, and unshakable.

Shock and Resistance

She was shocked. Resistant. "This isn't for me, God. I'm Indian—I don't speak Spanish. My family will think I've lost it. Prisons? Are you kidding me?" She didn't even know where El Salvador was on a map. She wasn't one to share her faith publicly. Still, the visions persisted—for three years. So she began taking one small step at a time, watching doors open that she never knocked on.

Discovery of CECOT

In her research, she discovered CECOT—the Terrorism Confinement Center of El Salvador, housing 40,000 men from MS-13 and other gangs. Suddenly, the visions made sense. This was the place. The largest concentration of human consciousness in one facility—in a state of pain, trauma, and incoherence.

The Divine Confirmation

Then came a revelation that changed everything. God said: "Look up the meaning of El Salvador." She did. It means: "The Savior"—another name for Christ. A nation literally named after Him.

The Connection

At the Bitcoin Conference in Miami, Manvir met Eric—someone with a heart for El Salvador. He invited her to visit. She went once and said no: "It's too much. This can't be for me." But the visions never stopped. When Eric reached out again with an invitation to return in January, she went—this time, by faith.

Walking in El Salvador

Walking the streets of El Salvador, the calling crystallized. What Bitcoin Beach was doing for monetary transformation, CECOT could become for spiritual transformation. A country already being reborn economically—now, a vision to see it reborn spiritually.

The Calling: 40 Days

The final piece arrived: Write a 40-day prayer. Pray for 40 days—like Jesus in the wilderness, like the rains of Noah, like a soul preparing for resurrection. 40 days. 40,000 men. United prayer. The movement was born: C40 Prayer.

The Vision

The dream is audacious and simple: to go into CECOT and pray with these men for 40 days. To bring peace, healing, and coherence to the largest gathering of souls the world has ever concentrated in one place. To activate something the world has never seen.

The Parallel

The connection became clear during Manvir's journey:

"Just as Bitcoin represents monetary transformation, CECOT represents the possibility of human and spiritual transformation."

In a nation literally named "The Savior," 40,000 men sit in a facility that could become holy ground—not through human effort, but through divine intervention.

Manvir is working on a book about this journey: "Dreaming the New Dream"—the story of how an unlikely calling became a global prayer movement.

The Butterfly Effect

Understanding how transformation actually happens

Imaginal Cells

Inside a caterpillar's chrysalis, there exist special cells called "imaginal cells." These cells carry the blueprint for the butterfly—the future possibility.

At first, the caterpillar's immune system attacks these cells as foreign invaders. But the imaginal cells persist, multiply, and eventually connect with each other.

When enough imaginal cells cluster together, they reach a tipping point—and the entire organism transforms into something entirely new.

"What if we are the imaginal cells? What if enough believers praying together can reach a spiritual tipping point—and see an entire community transform?"

Understanding our spiritual focus

40,000

Men Confined

Each one created in God's image. Each one known by name to the Father. Each one a candidate for redemption.

"The Savior"

El Salvador

A nation whose very name points to Christ. What if its name becomes its destiny?

40 Days

Of United Prayer

The biblical number of transformation—from Noah's flood to Jesus' wilderness. A time set apart.

This Is Not Political

We are not taking sides on policy or governance. We are praying for spiritual transformation—for victims to find healing, for perpetrators to find redemption, for a nation to witness the power of God.

The Promise

"Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."

John 14:12

United in Spirit

Believers from every nation, denomination, and background joining in one prayer for 40 days. Unity not uniformity.

Activated to Serve

This isn't passive prayer. We're asking God to activate spiritual gifts, raise up workers, and demonstrate His power.
